Project Overview: The Book Trailer is a motion design project created to develop skills in video editing, pacing, and visual narrative. The goal was to produce a short, cinematic promotional piece that captures the tone and subject matter of a book I'm writing through motion and sound.
My Role: I was responsible for the editing, motion design, and overall creative direction of the trailer. All original assets were sourced externally; my work focused on selecting, modifying, and assembling those elements into a cohesive final piece.
Creative Approach: The project required making deliberate decisions about pacing, sequencing, and visual tone to evoke the atmosphere of the book. I focused on how timing, transitions, and sound design work together to build narrative tension and draw a viewer in within a short runtime.
Outcome: The final trailer demonstrates my ability to shape raw assets into a purposeful, polished piece of motion design — a skill that translates directly to commercial video production, marketing content, and brand storytelling.
