Project Overview: Dark Packet is a conceptual photography series that treats darkness not as an absence of light, but as an active compositional element. The project examines how shadow, contrast, and selective illumination can create mood and visual tension.
My Role: I developed the concept, photographed all images, and completed post-production editing, experimenting throughout with lighting conditions, exposure, and framing.
Creative Approach: By limiting available light and shaping illumination precisely, I was able to draw attention to specific details while allowing surrounding areas to recede. The result is a series of images that reward close attention — surfaces and forms emerge gradually, encouraging viewers to look longer.
Outcome: Dark Packet reflects an interest in using technical craft in service of atmosphere, producing work that goes beyond documentation to create a distinct and immersive visual experience.
